Another furniture handle of wood

IN recent publication I discussed how to make furniture handle on the jig machine.

This time we will focus on the pen button of the tree.

For the manufacture of this pen I used ash. His expressive texture from the end.

To handle bar section taken 35h20 and rounded at the edges are milled.

Next, in circular saw slicing workpieces 8 mm thick. I cut to the mark made on the carriage. The disc used with more teeth for a cleaner cut.

The resulting preform spaced center and drill on wood made a blind hole depth of 5 mm. In order to limit the depth of porting using a piece of tape.

Further, the resulting hole I inserted round rod 8 mm in diameter, such as hole, and using a grinder made at low revs rounding on the front part of the handle.

First used nazhdachku grain 80, and then 180 - for final polishing.

Then already pasted round dowel ash length of 20 mm and a hole drilled in it for fastening.

And ready to handle the furniture looks like.

As you can see obtain simple wooden handles. Only do they need to be of hardwood. Pine does not work.
