"Figured thread" of aerated concrete. Hide overlapping elements in the walls.

The famous tale reads: "In aerated concrete house, the thief can easily saw through the passage in the wall ...". I use it for the benefit of themselves.

Especially at home, which is being built with his own hands (so even without the project) That constantly appear unusual moments. Something occurs quite suddenly, and for something mentally prepared.

βœ… I have not written a single article about all the nuances of its overlaps.

Here are the most popular ones:
- Problems of long span in the hardwood floor. I decide the matter without unnecessary costs.
- Everyone says my ceiling will collapse! I explain in detail why I'm right.
- The most powerful spot which I have met. I apply in their construction.

And here is another "story", which I had to face in its construction.

1️⃣ Overlapping my house, between the first floor and attic, it is supported at its beams (or rather boards) On the same wall, where rafters come.

I did it on purpose, to do extra work, they inset into the walls.

Yet one beam, which appeared in the course of construction, goes across the entire structure.

And laying pediments, I needed to get it.

And there had to work out, "carved aerated concrete"😁.

One row height, nearly to the height of the beams overlap. And in order to do a "hole" in the wall in two rows high, one block had to file.

I did it very simply:

  • With the help of a circular saw sawed section apart.
  • And broke the them, with subsequent modification.

All the same, I did Stroebe for reinforcement of walls.

2️⃣ Here is another place where I had to "avoid obstacles."

This area, which supports one of the beams, too, initially was not part of my plans. But in the end it is indispensable ...

So, too, need to hide in the wall. But here it was even easier:

A couple of strokes jigsaw and desired propyl ready.

All this of course is good, but there is one thing ...

As these improvements will impact on the thermal insulation of the walls? The better insulate these places, or have something else to do?

I ask for your advice, dear and experienced reader 😊.
