And it's good when finances allow us not to think about it. But this is not my case.

My construction makes the show imagination.

I've managed to write articles on how to start fixing the membrane to the roof of his house:

But I missed one important point:

I counter-attached not directly to the rafters, and a seal.

Ideally, this is done using a sealing strip intended for these purposes.

It provides a seal all the holes in the membrane, which can be obtained when mounting kontreyki.

In general, this technology is used relatively recently. And as they say, before all was fixed and without it, nothing never proceeded. Enough to make a little slack in the membrane to theoretically possible moisture dripping from the rafters and not to them.

All this is so, but personally I am interested in this seal also for other reasons.

Instead of expensive and specially designed material, I used the other.

In my izolon I called. Foamed polyethylene is used as insulation. But I needed the other properties:

1. The ability to expand.
2. Water resistant.

By kontreyke I had secured a stapler. So as not to cut into separate strips of crepe fabric directly.

I thought it would be a lot of fuss, but in fact, all kontreyki I spent about 2 hours.

But saved ...

If you use a special tape on the entire roof, I would have to spend about 3500 rubles (6 is a roll of 30 m., a price of about 900 p.). And it is at least ...

❗ And izolon, I spent about 300 rubles, and a couple of hours of unnecessary work.

But the result is, I think, to get one you need.
