This is another measure to prevent the ingress of water under the foundation.

In my case, the only possibility of moisture to the foundation - is the capillary suction of the soil.

But the damage to the foundation, nevertheless, can be applied, but only in the event of freezing of moist soil, and as a consequence of its swelling.
