I have just completed a home interesting work to eliminate gaps in the laminate and immediately share with you the result. At first it seemed that will solve all the easy way.

Perhaps you and this method will work, but I did not go to it. Since the laminated boards with castles sit very tight, move them by this method did not work.

I decided to do a different scheme, which involved two different ways at once.

1. At first brush, and I found something like a small screwdriver, which cleaned the backlashes from the small and large debris. The easiest way to do it with a vacuum cleaner. It is a pity, but because of problems with the lungs in the couple did not use, so cleaned out by hand.

2. Because of gaps in the laminate, two - on one board with two sides - had to decide which way to shift it more convenient. Then he found in the closet a good scrap 10 mm plywood (photo 2) to put it on the end of a strike. Also fit any rail thin or thick boards board width of not more than (can be a little longer) than the width of the laminate board. segment length can be 10-30 cm. This will be enough to head.

Thus it is possible to remove the gaps in all lamellae, except the last, which comes under the plinth.

4. And to close the gap between the last and the penultimate board, had to push back the heavy cabinet and remove a piece of the plinth. So I got access to the end, which will put pressure mount.

I insert mount the most convenient way, and the laminate is gradually shifted in the direction of the gap. The most difficult thing at this stage was to push the cabinet and remove the plinth. Laminate under mount went quickly and the gap disappeared immediately.
