I have an old lamp on the ceiling brand new bitmap, I wrote about recently. Shelves by type of gypsum and other versions were not. He tapped it - rings, then drywall, so I think with the laying of wiring will be no problems.

Only tore the lamp from the ceiling, looked at the ends of the finishing layer and dumbfounded - plasterboard and does not smell, and my plans for the end. And what is there? See for yourself.

3 cm foam glued to the ceiling throughout the area either on the plaster, or on the cast. And top plastered with a thin layer about 0.5 cm. Expose the opening dry and clean dampness and mold, no! But this is the top floor of the building, whose ceiling is always strongly freezes.

This is what has been found:

- ceiling surface beneath the foam, as it seemed, not the treated soil;

- a grid on the front side is not used;

- mushroom-shaped anchors for the installation of insulation boards do not (most strange to me);

- cracks at the joints plates found.

See for yourself: plates fit snugly to the ceiling over the entire surface, the sagging is not observed. And there is this work more than one year!

Although this premise organization, ceiling looks decent. And the most positive in this story is that the room temperature is a few degrees higher than in the neighboring, where 100% brand ceiling. It never felt. Long time I could not explain why the premises with the same as I felt the conditions this temperature difference. Now, the answer is obvious.

Output. I am not a supporter of the internal insulation, just stating a fact: the inside insulation of the ceiling - not a delusion, and the idea of requiring the analysis has already proved its effectiveness in some places. I am for fairness!
