Creaking door - a solution

There are special. means to lubricate hinges. But if there is no home, I advise you to use sewing machine oil, WD40, wax, soap, a pencil (see application below) or machine oil to lubricate the parts.

In my case - mortise hinges.

I was in the house sewing machine oil. I bought a year ago for the lubrication of the laptop cooler (much noisy in operation). Oil again and again come in handy on the farm. I advise you to buy, even if not yet creaking door.

Since the shape of the loops ensures tight porch paintings, I needed another tool - a conventional syringe.

Accumulated therein oil (few drops).

The small gaps filled in a little oil. The main thing is not to overdo it with grease, otherwise it is possible to fill the surface of the door and the floor. The syringe has helped make it so that the oil has not got on the door leaf and the floor. There were small stains on the loop, and their quickly wiped with a cloth and all. Then repeatedly opens, closes the door to deeper grease hit.

The door is now generally not heard as to open and close. I recommend this method, but if there is no oil for sewing machines, buy, come in handy.

If none of the above is not at home, you will approach a normal simple pencil.

Our grandparents used this way. We need to take a pencil, graphite broken off. Then lift the door leaf and between the loops to fill pieces. Creaking will disappear for a long time.
