Washed concrete. Purification blocks without water
We continue to talk about the process of making decorative blocks "Washed concrete" technology.
As previously wrote this article - changed the fence project in the direction of acquiring most of the building blocks. I will prepare their own units inlaid pillars and part of the wall.
Namely - 120 pieces, into two layers (uppermost and lowermost in the masonry) and 110 columns of blocks.. 420 pcs. wall will be purchased and they will be laying Plasterer technology "printed concrete" or "washed concrete." Is a combination of textures and possibly the color of the stone. To date, one-third of this amount has already made.
Video I clean off the surface with a layer of green concrete block. In this shingle laid bare (filler):
Side of the block band of the crude - is the future of the junction of the wall unit. Do not cover this part in the form of a retarder and concrete, this band is not washed.
After brushing, you can leave the unit so, but wash off the surface of the small number of entries. Why do all by hand - wrote: yet the well and the required volume of water, as well as a car wash.
I foresee again unflattering comments that I have too much time, or lack of intelligence. To me anyway on these statements. The goal of the journey and has already passed. And this is not show-off as some have written. If you do something, the way that would be pleasing to the eye. And not beaten, which is built at the neighbors through one. On the other - an exclusive. Something new, something others do not. You do not need a lot of money. Only need the time and desire.
Another pyramid-shaped cover for the pillars lateral fence in the purification process.
Fabricated volume units. In the center stack - partition. Top - freshly. He showered them with water. Wet look interesting.
Part once purified and scoured blocks party. I began to be stored elsewhere.
View excellent. Hopefully, covered with polyurethane varnish (or impregnation) will look the same.
20 to clean out blocks 4 h. On average 7-10 minutes per block, plus the time that would wash them with water. Yes, for a long time. But after pouring slabs of permanent formwork for the foundation last year - it familiar.
Some like to work with wood. I like to work with concrete and the form of decorative concrete surfaces.
