Types of floors for your home. Why I abandoned wooden beams !?
Wall material is selected (see previous article). Before that determine the type and design of the foundation. The next step before designing the house - is to determine the type of floors and views of the roof. Let's start with the ceilings.
They can be divided into three types: on wooden beams, slab factory performance and monolithic. Brief rundown of each type.
1. Overlap with wooden beams
Pros:
- Have a low cost in a draft version;
- Mounted on its own without the involvement of specialized equipment;
- are lightweight, do not load walls and foundations;
- Easy installation of communications through a data overlap.
Minuses:
- Flammability. The wood must be processed ognebiosostavom. At least two layers. In one layer - it is only biosecurity;
- Sound insulation of floors. It does not fix any heaters. The only way to somehow increase the sound insulation - a layer of sand or spilling something like expanded clay. But it soon will load beam;
- Trampoline. When improperly designing wooden floors. Or by excessive loads on the floor. For example, jumping on the first floor of the man or his career;
- Beams need to seal the quality of the walls of the house (if they are out of the blocks or bricks).
- The high cost of finishing ceilings residential floors: the draft floor, plywood, floor finishing. On the ground floor ceiling to hide optimally stretch ceiling, above which you can hide Communications: electrical wiring, ventilation.
I think that in a stone house, this type of overlap is optimal only in the ceiling of the roof of the second floor (if it's a full second floor with a sloping roof).
2. Slab floors.
Main plate - a series of PC and PB series:
A series of plates PB (right picture), characterized in that made on bezopalubnoy technology. Valves in it prednatyanuta geometry have a more smooth than that of PC boards (poured in the formwork). SDS slab can be cut into any size and at any angle. This is usually done in the production to fit your size. Plates PC can not be cut. Plates can not rely on the middle and long part, because work in it is lower fittings.
Pros slabs:
- Quick installation by crane house ceilings: 1-2 hours
- Better insulation in the ceiling compared with wood;
- Cost. It is lower in comparison with the casting monolithic slabs;
- Fire safety. At one but. When an open flame and high temperature is kept not more than an hour. There is a reinforcement plate loosening and cracking;
- Durability compared with wooden beams.
Minuses:
- The cost of delivery and installation;
- Design of the house to the size of plates (in case of PC boards - both in length and width). When choosing plates PB - you need to adjust to the total width of the plate;
- The difficulty of laying communications through the plate;
- The need for additional work on the anchoring plates and pouring rough screed;
- Requires filling Laying nets under the slab floor.
3. monolithic ceilings
I would divide them into two types:
- monolithic slab reinforced with two layers;
- often ribbed slab with reinforced concrete beams and filler in between.
In the photos the right chastorebristoe Solid ceiling before filling with fillers: aerated concrete and hollow block from PGS.
I will describe their overall strengths and weaknesses.
pros monolithic slabs:
- The lack of reference to the size and configuration of the walls of the house. The ability to lay pass under the stairs or output to loft any size;
- High sound insulation properties compared to hardwood floors;
- In the case of fin often overlap with the aggregate of gazoblokov - low mass of overlapping;
- Pozharobezopesnost. Frequently ribbed slab maintained over 4 hours and more in the fire at a temperature of more 1200gr .;
- Does not require additional ties in the case of high-quality casting and polishing the concrete mass;
- Durability compared to hardwood floors;
- Ability to establish communication holes for passage through the ceiling;
- Laying nets filled immediately with overlap (overlapped includes Laying nets);
- Ability to fill the pipe warm floor right into a monolith overlap.
Minuses:
- Full-bodied, monolithic ceilings are heavy and the highest cost of all options. Cost often-ribbed slabs comparable to plate overlaps.
- High labor intensity and long overlap installation;
- The need for installation of support beams under the often-ribbed slabs and formwork for monolithic slabs (racks for rent);
- A large mass of monolithic slabs - an additional burden on the walls and foundation.
After reviewing all the features often-ribbed slabs, realized that they win and fully monolithic slabs and MDF: they are lighter and those and others; the cost is comparable to the slab; they are superior to all others in performance.
But the fact is that we in no one makes such beams for the often-ribbed slabs. I contacted the manufacturer of such structural elements: TM brand. Unfortunately, the geography of their branch ends somewhere in the Chelyabinsk region.
My house is designed to the size of plates PC. Hardwood floors are assumed to be only the second floor roof. But I think, if you count the cost of hardwood floors, insulated Minplita, they will be comparable to the cost of often-fin. You can pay about 50-70 thousand. and you get a reliable and durable insulated monolith. This amount is not so big in the value of the house.
If at the time of completion of the construction of the walls of the first floor nobody in town will not start work on the production of floor beams, the book certainly will plate.
But there was an option to (or partners) to open this production. He turned to an acquaintance that has unused space in the garage. But I did not find interest, apparently not before. Although nothing complicated. Only need to order the calculation of beams from the designers. Know what thickness reinforcement to lay in a particular beam, depending on its length. The main income - from work on the installation and filling of overlap.
In general who wants to take this niche in the Krasnoyarsk region and in the neighboring regions - you can calculate everything and organize until the niche is not occupied. TM MARCO confirmed - no one here does not do so. And this topic is beyond the area of private housing. These designs will be used in the subject construction of buildings for industrial and commercial facilities. In general, one of the Eastern Siberia - grab an idea.
