A solid oven at the price of a kilogram of barbecue: scheme
We got acquainted with this simplest scheme of an economical stove in Laos. The street food vendors there make absolutely everything. The main advantages of such a stove are the low price and speed of manufacture (2 hours at most).
Returning home, we tried to make the same oven with our own hands at the dacha, and today it warms us in the evenings on the street, and on it we cook country delicacies.
For the curious - here is a photo of the finished stove:
In order to make a stove, we needed:
- sand;
- cement;
- water;
- liquid soap;
- lattice;
- fittings;
- plastic bucket and pipe;
1. Inside the plastic bucket, we install the pipe strictly vertically, make a hole in the bottom of the bucket for the pipe to exit - it will become the blower of the stove.
A bucket of primer or dry mortar is well suited for this purpose.
2. We knead the concrete in the cart and pour the mixture inside the plastic bucket. We don't put anything into the pipe!
3. When the concrete just starts to set and the cement milk leaves its surface, we take out the vertical part of the pipe.
4. We take out the lower part of the pipe (the future blew) and insert 4 fittings into the concrete - it will be possible to put a cauldron, frying pan or bowl on them.
5. We wait for the concrete to harden and cut the plastic bucket. We decided that the protruding reinforcement was ugly, and the cut of its sidewall. Steel bolts with threads inside were planted on them.
In total, we spent about 300 rubles on materials for the stove, which at the price corresponds to one kilogram of meat for a barbecue!
How do you like such a stove for evening gatherings in the country?
