Usually, few men are interested in the decor of a summer cottage - there are enough worries: then something needs to be repaired, then you want to build something - the house is already full of worries. However, there are times when you want to do something for your soul - beautiful and inexpensive.

One such homemade product is concrete balls that can be installed in a rock garden, flower bed, or alpine slide.

They are done very simply, quickly and inexpensively - now I'll tell you everything.

The biggest challenge in making a ball is finding the right shape. Of course, you can order a metal plaster mold for casting plaster. But it's expensive, not our way.

I suggest using old rubber balls as a form - both Soviet children's balls and basketballs will do. They are durable and keep their shape perfectly even despite the heavy weight of the concrete mix.

We prepare a standard concrete mixture and pour it into the ball cavity little by little. If the hole is small, you can use a funnel from a 1.5 liter bottle.

We leave the ball to dry for 2 days, then remove the "peel" with a knife - the result is beauty:
