The grandfather's way to catch all the rodents in the house

Once upon a time, as a child, my parents sent me to the village for the whole summer to visit my grandparents. It was then that my grandfather showed me a great way that allowed them not to keep the cat, but to catch all the mice in the house.

There were no mice in the house, or in the barn, or in the garage - a universal method.

Even ultrasonic mouse repellents are nonsense compared to grandfather's invention.

To capture the entire mouse family (usually 8-12 individuals) we need bait and an empty bottle. It is desirable that the bottle is made of glass and from under the Soviet champagne. Smoked sausage, aerated cheese, or bread with vegetable oil are suitable as bait.

How to catch mice with a bottle?

This mechanism is as simple as a rake:
(1) find the place where the mice are clustered;
(2) put the bait on the bottom of the glass bottle;
(3) HORIZONTALLY put the bottle on the bottom, support it with blocks or pieces of iron so that it does not move.

How it works?

The mouse senses the bait and seeps into the narrow bottleneck. He eats food, but cannot turn around and crawl back out. Up to 5-6 mice are packed in one bottle. Accordingly, the whole family needs 2-3 bottles of bait.
