Peppers are sowing unusually early this year
Fell in love with a variety of pepper that I haven't tried. It happened! And she certainly wanted to sow it. Variety Veronica. This pepper influenced my sowing plans.
At first I could not find him. Yes, if you really want to, you can find what you are looking for!
I am very grateful for the seeds to a stranger Yuri. The gardener of the gardener understands! I don’t write what the difficulties were connected with, but there were many of them.
It turns out that I shamelessly strained Yuri. And she became the owner of all the sweet pepper seeds that he sows, plus the seeds of Veronica. Here is such a sympathetic person!
And also thanks to subscriber Eva, from the Mediterranean. She told about Veronica. What a thick-walled raspberry pepper it turns out!
Only here is this late variety or early - a mystery. Seed producers write different things. And Yuri's varieties are also of unknown ripening period, some without a name.
The bottom line is, late pepper and it is necessary to sow now, so that it has time to ripen before the cold weather. If the varieties turn out to be late, I will have time to get a crop of peppers ripe on the bush. And if it's early, well, I'll have a pepper earlier, maybe even put it in my bags, like early tomatoes. Idea here
So, I'm sowing a part just in case in mid-February. I will supplement it with phytolamps.
I will sow the rest of the peppers with the expectation of daylight. Just find out the time for shoots. It is necessary that the seedlings fall around March 18, for which I wrote here. I will only leave strong strong sprouts.
When are peppers sown in our area?
Mid February! Now ask in what form they are planted! Sometimes with peppers! Year after year is not necessary. The peppers are developing rapidly, the season is cold. And you can't plant early in open ground.
If my peppers are early, put them in bags like the headband to this article
We consider 8 large peppers per bush to be a good harvest. And I want more, if possible! Where does more come from? Good lighting, bacteria and a lot of biohumus are what should help. I'll also add my compost from the EM bucket. Little.
Peppers are a BEAUTIFUL good "currency", they are pleasant to give. They are stored well. So it makes sense to grow more than you can immediately eat and prepare.
When do you sow peppers and why?
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
