I used to let such tomatoes ripen a little more. But I saw that a friend at such maturity was already making a salad. Therefore, I made a salad:
A red tomato in a friend's salad, she treated her grandson. The same sowing on January 4 and trimming the crown, only she was somehow able to plant it in the ground in the greenhouse. The difficulty was in the impressive size of the bush at the time of disembarkation. She pinned her tomato, and now it began to ripen a little earlier than mine.
This is to the question of planting overgrown tomatoes. On April 5, mine moved to my permanent residence in a bag already with flowers, a little later in the greenhouse soil. The landing date is not a role model. I just want to say that nothing terrible happened with the tomatoes.
About taste
My tomato, the local yellow variety Daria, is already delicious. Sweet, with a characteristic tomato flavor. Podrugin, although he was still hard, was also tasty. This is a Christian F1 hybrid.
What conclusion can be drawn? Our growing conditions, a long stay on the bush, are excellent for the taste of tomatoes.
