I wanted to get clean water, but I came to a dirty top water. I am mastering the most accessible source - a 4-meter "well".
I sometimes wonder myself how my plans change dramatically as my work progresses. I started with one thing, came to quite another ...
This is how it happened with one of the most important components of any country house - water supply.
After watching videos on the Internet about how easy it is to get perfect water in any area, I started work with great enthusiasm. And how great was my surprise when nothing happened.
Read more about this in this article.
And the whole background is available in articles on my channel.
And now the main question is what to do next?
✅ There is simply nowhere to retreat, because without water supply, the whole story with building a house simply does not make sense.
And so I decided to take a siding:
This option is the simplest, and the least expensive (at first glance), both in terms of finance and work.
Well 4 meters... Does that even happen?
Abyssinian, sub-well, hole in the ground ... Whatever you call it, but this is the only available, and simply unlimited source of water on my site.
I used this option all the time I was building the house. Here I used the hammering option (I wrote about this in detail in one of the first articles on the channel. Read).
The only and main drawback here is the quality of the water.
Only outwardly it can be said that there is a lot of organic matter, iron, and hydrogen sulfide. In general, a full bouquet.
This is understandable: in fact, this is a perch, which is covered from above only by a layer of loam and black earth. There is simply no normal waterproofing.
Now I decided to do everything more thoroughly:
- Not a rusting steel pipe, but HDPE.
- The filter is not made of geotextile as it was, but a normal filter with a filter mesh (manufacturing example, you can see here).
- And it was very easy to drill ...
But what to do with such water ???
Surely this question is in your head now... So I thought at first, until I began to delve into this topic. And here's what I'll tell you:
Nowadays, you can purify water of any quality, and even make an artesian well from a puddle.
❗ There is only a question of the cost of this process.
Here's how to do it efficiently and at the least cost, and I'll decide. And I will definitely share the results on my channel.
