For all the time of my self-construction, I have dealt with bituminous mastic more than once. And in all cases "spat" when using it.

Requires softening.

Even in summer, this mass is not liquid, and in winter it is generally a brick. According to the instructions, it can be diluted with a solvent, but I melted it with a burner, and immediately applied it.

Therefore, this is a long process.

To miss everything qualitatively, not at all quickly. And especially if the surface is uneven, then even longer ...

At the same time, you will be smeared from head to toe.

Hands, clothes, and even shoes... And then you go and leave traces wherever you can.

But the result is worth it, and that's what matters.

In terms of efficiency, this option is much better than roll waterproofing.

• Adhesion to 100% of the surface, which increases the reliability of waterproofing.
• Point damage will not affect the protection of the rest of the surface.
• Retains flexibility over time, does not crack.
