We bought 500 meters of cable from a good factory, and slipped a 4-year-old leaky cable from a cheap one
This year we have fulfilled our old dream - we have changed the power cable that goes into the house: instead of the old cable hanging with a "nozzle", we buried a new one in the ground.
But when buying a cable, we were almost deceived.
We asked:
- cable of the ALUR plant (it is one of the highest quality, they strictly adhere to GOSTs);
- cable of 2020 release (it is very dangerous to take a stale cable);
- cable according to GOST standard;
- 5 * 16 mm VBbshV - armored five-core cable;
The firm's manager assured that "the company fulfills defense orders and is very reliable." As a result, thanks to these cable grinders, they brought us:
- the cable of the "Kamkabel" plant is also not bad in quality, but to ALUR it is like walking to China;
- 2016 release (they asked for a fresh one, 2020) - it means that it was lying in a warehouse (or open air) idle and could pick up moisture;
- made according to TU, not GOST (who knows the difference);
- 5 * 16 VBbshV - the brand is the same as requested. At least here our requirements were fulfilled.
Do you know what is the most interesting?
- To hide the substitution, the supplier covered up the name of the cable plant with paint: he covered it with "KAM" and left only "CABLE".
The crooks also covered up the manufacturer's number. It is also often written on a reel to make quality claims.
But the millers covered up important information only on one side of the coil - the coveted "CAMCABLE" flaunted on the reverse (remember, they ordered ALURE). Apparently, the coil was uncomfortable, and it was not possible to cover up the letters on the second side - you cannot crawl.
On our first careful run over, we received an answer that there was a "misgrading", and in a couple of weeks our cable will be delivered to us. And we have already dug a trench and barred the entrance to gardening. There is no time to wait - people need a ride on the road:
There was a natural fraud. The price of the cable that was brought to us is 30% less than the one we paid for. A good advantage considering the delivery volume - 500 meters.
I will not go into details of what forces we used to put pressure on the swindlers, but in the end they brought us another cable.
Only not armored (VBbshv), but ordinary VVG. I had to buy PVC pipes and lay the cable in it, because VVG is not intended for laying directly into the ground.
Moral of the story:
Remember, 100% prepayment = divorce.
Take the cable carefully upon shipment (we noticed the change only after an hour);
Enter into a contract (without black cash) and write down all the essential conditions in it: plant and year of manufacture of the cable, type, cross-section, number of meters. It is very important.
Good luck guys! Don't repeat our mistakes.
