The ideal companion petunias (and self-flower). My discovery-2019
Leafing through the design options petunias in hanging pots, in the last year I have noticed as a companion cute flower. But did not know its name. The compositions obtained are very nice! And then a couple of weeks ago, I met her discovery at the cottage with friends. Of course, I ask in detail.
My new discovery from the colors of the world bears the name of "Bacopa". Less common basket plant called "Souter". At first glance, it seems that she does not particularly noteworthy. Flowers small, no bright colors. Leaves, although texture is not particularly noteworthy. If not for 2 "but"!
1. Calling Bacopa -become spectacular basket plant. Creeping shoots can grow up to 1 m! Entirely covered with leaves and flowers, they form a fat living cascades. Therefore, the best option of planting the plants - in hanging pots or box. So it can make the most of natural inclinations.
2. Sutera is ideal for together with any other planting flowers: Petunia, geranium, lobelia. "Calico" hanging shoots create a great neutral background, not without its own charm.
Bacopa blooms long and hard: from June until the autumn frosts. Pruning in summer + dressing provoke a new wave of abundant flowering.
Some features of the care of Bacopa, who also wanted to put it:
- The plant is unpretentious in the care with the exception of one fad: it enjoys abundant watering. The heat necessary to water every day.
- That Bush was more magnificent, worth pinch shoots.
- But to fertilizing Sutera quite demanding. Several times during the season - and the flower is happy.
