I took off the protective film from the windows, right after installation, and an acquaintance says that in vain π€·ββοΈ. He explained why he was wrong.
It seems to be such a trifle, but many make a mistake here. Although I accidentally found out the correct solution.
Friends, great hello to everyone! This article is about a thing that seems insignificant in terms of construction, but important for a beginner like me.
It has already been several months since I installed windows. I did everything with my own hands and without any problems.
How it was, read on my channel.
But recently, an acquaintance made a remark to me:
"Why did you remove all the films from the windows? It was necessary to leave it until the final finishing, otherwise all the profiles will be obscured during the work. "
Everything seems to be logical, but there is one thing.
Even before the installation of windows, I have often noticed examples when a protective film is left on the windows.
You don't even have to go far, the neighbors had the same story.
β And at the same time, I accidentally stumbled upon a story on the Internet about how one unfortunate person was looking for ways to tear off this film a year after the windows were installed.
And then, after reading the information in more detail, I learned that this film, under the influence of the sun, simply sticks to the frame, and it becomes very difficult to tear it off. You can't do without special tools ...
Yes, it is possible during subsequent construction work, the windows are unprotected and may get dirty, but this is not certain (can be closed with something additionally). But to tear off this film, if you leave it, you will need one hundred percent. So, I think I made the right decision.
And what do you think? Share your experience in the comments, it will be interesting.
