Greetings to all subscribers and guests of my channel! In this article, I have prepared for you a selection of simple but useful homemade products that will come in handy for the home craftsman during construction and repair work.
1. From two flat corners and magnets (for example, from old speakers), you can make a good magnetic corner, which will come in handy for a home craftsman during welding.
To make it you will need no more than 5 minutes. We put the magnets on the first corner, distributing them so that they do not go beyond the ribs and install the second corner on top. Then we align the corners with each other and connect the entire structure with screws and nuts.
As a result, you will have a magnetic corner, which will be an excellent assistant when welding any light structures (for example, shaped pipes or metal corners) at right angles.
2. If you take wooden skewers and two small pieces of plywood (for example, 15 x 7 cm), you can make a very useful tool.
We lay and align the skewers between the pieces of plywood and screw the screws along the edges. Then, if there is free space, we report the skewers so that they lie close to each other and that's it, the instrument is ready.
This tool will help you to mark any object of irregular shape. For example, suppose you are laying tiles in a bathroom and you need to cut the tiles so that they fit perfectly to the pipe. We take our tool, align the sticks and apply them to the pipe. The skewers will exactly follow the shape of the pipe and you can easily make markings on the tiles.
3. For the next homemade product, you will need a steel tube with an inner diameter of 6 - 8 mm (if you need a smaller diameter, you can use tubes from the antenna of an old radio).
Cut off a tube about 8-10 cm long, clamp it into a drill and chamfer it on a grinder at an angle of 30-40 degrees.
Five minutes and you have a drill bit with which you can make straight holes in rubber or leather. But this is not all, the resulting ideal-shaped rubber circles that remained after drilling can be use as furniture dampers or legs for objects to prevent slipping or scratching surface.
