Correct design of the children's room!

Children's room! In my opinion, it is important for both children and parents. After all, if a child is in harmony with his room, it means that he will study, practice, play and relax in it with pleasure! What do parents need most? So that the child is healthy, happy and does everything with pleasure, and not through force!

Often, when arranging a children's room, parents make some mistakes: they embody their children's dreams in the room, make repairs "for growth" or, on the contrary, choose a too "childish" design. Never do that!

And read some of my tips for decorating a nursery.

1. Do not get carried away with children's themes. The relevance of butterflies, bears and toy cars will end very quickly. Remember that children grow up quickly. Even children of primary school age often change interests. And if, before the start of the repair, your son wanted wallpaper with transformers, and your daughter with princesses, then by the end of the repair they may change their minds by asking superheroes and cats.

In order to support the child's hobby, you can buy baby bedding, pillow covers, posters or magazines with your favorite characters, and choose something neutral for wall decoration.

2. Create general comfort. If you are setting up a room for a child under 2-3 years old, you should take care of yourself. Complement the room space not only with a place to sleep and play for your baby, but also with a place for parents to relax, for example, a sofa or an armchair.

The colors of the room should also be comfortable. Don't make them too colorful. They should not tire, disturb concentration, or affect attention. Choose calm neutral tones.

3. Divide the space into zones. The children's room should have places for games, recreation, communication and activities. It will be great if, in addition to the work and play area in the children's room, there is a place for a sports corner or wall bars.

It is most important to divide the room into 3 parts: at the entrance to organize storage space, closer to the window - a working and sleeping place, and in the center to allocate a common free area for games.

4. Think about sustainability of materials and safety. Choose high-quality materials for arranging a children's room. This also applies to furniture, and decor, and decoration. The decor in the nursery should not be too bulky and expensive. Remember that children are fidgets, and things that are “not bolted to the walls or glued to the ceiling” can fall, break and break.

5. Take care of the lighting. This is a very important topic. Do not neglect the bright main light and additional lamps in the workplace (even if the table is near a window). A sconce or a table lamp with a dimmed light by the bed will be relevant, especially before bed or at night.

When arranging a children's room, do not forget that you are doing it not for yourself, but for your child, so discuss everything together, take into account his individuality and wishes.
