But on the other hand, I know those who refuse this pleasure due to the fact that after cooking delicious aromatic meat you have to clean the grate with dried smoke and grease. Brr ... This is not pleasant!

You can start cleaning the grate immediately after use. It will be easier to wash it until all the fumes are dry. But no one wants to skip a meal for the sake of this unpleasant, tedious and not too fast process. Therefore, this matter always remains for later.

But it turned out that there is a super effective way not to miss the feast and not to start the grid. I'm telling you.

A few days ago, we went to a friend's dacha, where they were barbecuing on coals. After cooking, we went to dinner. And an hour later we returned to the brazier to put the lattice in the bag. It seemed strange to me! But it turned out that this is my friend's "secret" way to quickly and painlessly self-clean the grate.

The way is, in fact, the simplest!

At home, I repeated this procedure with a dirty grate with long-dried smoke and grease. Yes, I just turned out to be like that!) The result was certainly impressive!

Preparatory work required. They take 5 seconds!

  • Prepare a large bag of sturdy polyethylene (from any supermarket or trash can) and a liquid detergent.
All you need is a bag and dishwashing detergent

Further, the process itself. It takes not 5 seconds, but as much as 20!

  • We take a thick plastic bag from any supermarket. The size is large enough to fit the grill. The bag must be intact and airtight - no holes.
  • Add a few tablespoons of liquid detergent and a small amount of water to it.
  • Stir the entire resulting "solution" inside the bag and grind it along its inner side until foam forms.

Once you've got the foam inside the bag, just put the dirty wire rack in there.

Important! The grid must be cooled down so that the polyethylene does not melt!
  • Tie the bag up and try to make it "stick" to the wire rack.
  • After that, you just need put this construction aside for the night. The mixture of water and detergent will not only prevent burning and grease from drying out, but will also help to move them away from the grate. After 10-12 hours, fumes and fat will be washed off with a slight movement of the hand.
