In this part, we will focus on preparing parts for painting and finishing various little things before assembly.
A figured piece had to be fixed to the roof.
I decided to glue it before painting, so that the junction was less noticeable. Of course, before gluing, the parts were pre-sanded.
It was also necessary to foresee how the cabinet would be attached to the wall. I decided to place the mount behind the mirror and in the B-pillars I made a selection for the mounting bar.
And in the end, I made fasteners for the hanging rod. The fastening was made on dowels and glued last after painting and assembly.
Grinding of parts was done in two stages. First, I smoothed the planes with a belt sander and ground the edges of the parts. Then I made a shallow selection of soft pine fibers with a brushing nozzle.
With this approach, I was able to paint white only the soft fibers of the details. (More on painting will be in another part)
Grinding the rod was done with a drill.
Frames for facades were sanded in assembly, clamping the frame in a vice

The next part will be about finalizing the decor for the facades.
