An overview of the BOSCH GEX 125-1 AE grinder (although it is more a FLASH than a BOSCH). How did this baby surprise me?

We have arranged a terrace some time ago. And urgently needed a grinder to bring the beauty to the end. I was thinking about the Makitov product. But in the end I listened to the advice of an experienced specialist respected by me and bought BOSCH. Although in this case the grinder at first glance looks more like BLOSCH (flea) - small and inconspicuous. But it was said about her as "unkillable and durable."

I initially did not consider it. The cost of this supposedly professional device is lower than that of a conventional one. Power is low. The number of revolutions is also not the best. And the size of the machine is only suitable for Thumbelina or a Boy with a Finger.

But I trusted the advice. And how much I changed my opinion about her at work!

The BOSCH GEX 125-1 AE grinder is not called professional for nothing. This is a very good eccentric sander for the price! I'm happy as an elephant!

The main advantages that could be noted after operation:

• A light weight. The dimensions are ideal for the hand.
• Instead of a filter, a vacuum cleaner can be adapted.
• Preselection of speed for a specific material.
• Velcro fastener for quick and easy replacement of sanding sheets.
• The sanding discs hold super firmly!
• Random vibrating motion helps prevent scratches on the wood surface.
• Cord! 4 meter cord! Perfect size.
• The machine works "like a beast". It took me a day to polish the terrace of 20 sq.m.

But the most important thing! It is an “indestructible engine” that can run continuously and not overheat. And also - the ability to replace soft Velcro bases that are out of order. The cost is up to about 1000 rubles.

Disadvantages of the machine:

1. In my opinion, the maximum speed of the sander is a little low. For aggressive sanding it would be better to slightly increase the speed.
2. The Bosch microfiltration system does not live up to its claims: perfect and efficient dust extraction. Better to attach a vacuum cleaner.
3. Noises! It makes so much noise - professionally)) And the vibration from it is as strong as the noise!
4. Does the job perfectly, but leaves sanding marks on some surfaces.
5. Do not hold the table at an angle to the surface to be sanded. The table becomes unusable.

There are configurations with and without a case. The cost is about 6 thousand rubles. I don't know if it's a minus or a plus. Professional grinders are more expensive. But you can buy regular ones at a lower price. You can study the prices in the Market in more detail.
