Diy wood impregnation

For making homemade impregnation for #wood processing required diesel fuel and used machine oil. We mix diesel fuel and oil in a ratio of 8 to 1. That is, we take 8 parts of diesel fuel and add 1 part of engine oil. Mix everything well. And that's it! The miracle remedy is ready!

Can be applied to any wooden structure with a regular paint brush.

This tool has become a real find for me. I remember the first time I tried it on a piece of ordinary euro lining, in order to observe for a while on the cut how deep the impregnation penetrates, and how effective it will be. The "test" board has passed the test of time, water and sun!

In an hour, the product soaked the tree to a depth of about 5 millimeters. This is a great result. Factory impregnation did not give such indicators. After observing the reaction of the board, I began to use homemade impregnation on other wood products. They have been serving for several years without additional processing.

This impregnation can be used to coat both new and old wood products. They will receive protection and an updated look.

The mixture of diesel fuel and used engine oil gives the wood a shine and dark color. If you like lighter colors, you can add new oil instead of used oil. Then the coating will resemble varnish painting - the natural color of the tree with shine.
