You want a barbecue, but there is no time! How to quickly ignite the coals for barbecue without lighting and other chemicals?
Barbecue cooking is a kind of sacrament! Enjoyment! When everything freezes around, time stops! First you add the wood, add the coal! You sit, wave, look at the sparks, control the process, at the same time stringing the meat on the skewers... Then you slowly fry! Enjoy the whole process!
But it happens a little differently!
You drive past the park, and there the aroma of barbecue penetrates the car through the closed windows)) You understand that you want to eat it today! But time for cooking and "enjoying the process" is sorely lacking!
You run into the store for meat, pickle, go back to work! And when you return home in the evening "hungry as a wolf", you quickly light up the coals to cook the dinner you dreamed of all day... and here you have no time to enjoy the process)
Here I want to swallow meat and raw)) Therefore, a bag of coal bought on the way in a store saves. But to wait until it flares up - there is no strength and desire. And I don't want to use ignition and other chemicals even more!
For such situations, there are two ways in my piggy bank of "useful tips" that allow coal to ignite in a matter of seconds)
Method one: wonderful properties of the egg tray
Yes, an ordinary egg tray is perfect for lighting coals. 1-2 pieces are enough. Or you can use a charcoal bag. They are similar in structure. Both the one and the other material perfectly help the coals to flare up.
The egg tray must be opened and laid out at the bottom of the barbecue. Coals poured onto it from above. Then the tray needs to be slightly lifted and shaken so that some of the coals penetrate under the tray.
The tray is lit from four sides. You will not notice how it flares up. And together with it, the coals flare up very quickly! It takes 2-3 minutes. And by waving the magic fan several times, the coals will flare up even faster.
Method two: bottle and paper
For ignition you need a bottle - plastic or glass - it doesn't matter! The bottle must be wrapped with paper (newspaper, toilet paper, cardboard, notebooks - whatever), then the coals are poured. The next step is very important))
Attention!!! Take out the bottle!
An air space and a paper ring will remain inside the coals. We set fire to the paper, and the coals quickly ignite. You don't need to set fire to the bottle)) And then there were unique cases among my friends))
If you sprinkle a little oil on paper, cardboard, egg tray, or even on the coals themselves, the process will go even faster!
A quick delicious dinner! AND BON APPETIT!
