The bathroom was like in a kindergarten: dolphins, fish on the tiles - they made a normal repair. 🛀 Before / after photos

The family bought an apartment on the secondary market in the old fund. And as it often happens in such cases, it was scary to enter it. There hasn't been a repair for many years, everything is falling apart, it smells like "naphthalene" and requires urgent renewal.

It is very expensive to make major repairs in the whole apartment at once. We decided to start with the most important thing - the bathroom. After all, this is the place where people should carry out hygiene procedures in cleanliness and order.

The bathroom looked like a kindergarten - dolphins and fish flaunted on a white background, a motley pattern along the edge of the tiles. Maybe when everything was new and fresh, it was beautiful. But now, against the background of shabby paint and filthiness, it all looked very depressing.

The bathroom itself is very small, less than 3 squares, combined. They decided to make the interior in light colors with a predominance of white.

We thought for a long time and in the end we completely abandoned the bath in favor of the shower. It was necessary to fit a washing machine in the bathroom - the presence of a bath did not allow this.

The tile was chosen pure white, like a brick. They did not buy a shower cabin, they made it ourselves, laying out a pallet and hanging a corner bar for the curtain.

The renovation was budgetary, so not the entire room was tiled, but only the wet area. The rest was painted with moisture resistant paint. Part of the floor is tiled with wood imitation tiles.

We bought a special sink for a washing machine. The toilet was chosen from the usual economy segment.

They hung a lamp, a mirror, a cabinet over the toilet - and all together resulted in a very nice version. The bathroom contains everything you need, it has taken on a completely different look and now it is nice to be here.

The renovation is rather modest, but neat. The family has solved an important problem and is now slowly renovating other rooms.
