Made an economical major overhaul in a two-room apartment - the neighbors said it was gloomy

A young family with a small child bought a two-room apartment without renovation. There was no big money for repairs in the whole apartment, but it was necessary to move and somehow live in normal conditions.

The couple decided to make an economical renovation without any special frills, design services. They came up with everything themselves, bought budget finishing materials, hired a team of workers. We did what we could with our own hands.

It was decided to create a uniform style throughout the apartment, close to the Scandinavian. Such an interior assumes restrained colors, minimalism in furniture and decor.

In the kitchen, the walls were painted gray, however, as in the entire living space. The furniture is made in classic colors - black and white. The facades are smooth, the table top borders on the window sill and is on the same level with it.

This made it possible to expand the useful area. The refrigerator is located on the opposite wall, decorated with geometric wallpaper, you can see it in the photo of what will happen next.

We saved on the apron - instead of tiles, we bought more budget skins with nice photo printing. They preferred a mini-oven to the oven. A moisture-resistant laminate was laid on the floor. Quite simple, but cute.

The tenant's doors and extra partitions were abandoned. The living room is divided into two areas - a work area and a recreation area.

The seating area has a comfortable sofa, coffee table and TV. Please note that one of the walls is decorated with stylish scandi-style photo wallpaper.

On the wall opposite the sofa there is a small wall, which organically fits into the interior in color and design.

Behind the sofa is a desk with a computer. The color of the curtains is very good.

The bedroom in the apartment is small and narrow. The interior is also restrained. A warmer beige shade was chosen for the walls, and one side was covered with wallpaper. In addition to the bed, the bedroom has a changing table and a baby cot. The curtains are brown and also match the beige shades of the room.

The bathroom is combined. For its decoration, they chose not a tile, but a more budgetary option - PVC panels. The tiles are only on the floor. The bathroom wall has a nice black pattern on a white background, the rest of the walls are black. It looks very stylish and the dark color of the walls is harmoniously diluted with white plumbing, which, by the way, is also from the economy class.

In the corridor, white decorative brick wallpaper was used. On the floor is the same gray-brown oak laminate.

So, with limited finances, the family implemented a very fashionable renovation in their two-room apartment - the interior is sustained and everything is tastefully selected.

The neighbors, seeing the apartment, said it was gloomy and gray. The residents were not at all upset by this. Many simply do not understand the beauty of monochrome interiors. In fact, such a calm environment is practically not boring. And if you want more colors, you can always dilute the interior with bright accents, for example, pillows, rugs, curtains.
