We make a universal spanner wrench. This should be in every garage
Hello to all homemade products and Mikhalych is with you again with another homemade product. The idea was shown by the guys car masters from AVTO CLASS. The homemade product is certainly not new, but the well-forgotten old one)) And so, we make an adjustable spanner key, with which you can unscrew or tighten nuts, pins, bolts and everything that can be tightened. It is difficult to imagine a seasoned master without such a key.
And so let's get to work.
We take a thick-walled pipe, in this case its diameter is 32 mm. We need a piece with a length of 11-12 cm.
Now we need a hairpin that will fit the inner diameter of the pipe. The length of the hairpin is about 18-20 centimeters. Then we insert the hairpin into the pipe to a depth of 2 cm.
Now the pipe must be welded to the hairpin, and then the weld spot must be cleaned. We are people here with aesthetic views and everything should be beautiful with us)) In general, you should get something like the one in the photo.
Now we take the nut from our hairpin and scroll it along the thread. This is necessary to update the thread itself, since after welding metal droplets could get there.
Now we weld a piece of bicycle chain to our own nut. Of course, the chain must be working. The length of the chain can be at least 15 and maximum 25 cm, it makes no sense to make the chain longer. We weld as shown in the photo.
Next, we clean the welding place again. Remember, we are aesthetes))
Now for the important trick. At the end of our hairpin, we make cuts in a checkerboard pattern as in the photo.
Why these cuts are probably not worth explaining. We saw through with a grinder with a cutting wheel for metal. Or if you have a lot of time and you want to remember all the Gods, then saw with a blade on metal by hand)))
We screw the nut onto the stud and get the most versatile and convenient spanner key.
The principle of operation is clear. We put the key on what you need to unscrew, rotate the hairpin with the handle clockwise while holding the key.
We twist and rejoice)) If it doesn't work, we put a pipe on the handle of the key or insert a metal rod into the handle as a lever.
That's all, cheap and cheerful. Thanks to the guys from the auto shop for the master class and bye everyone. Mikhalych was with you, I wish my guests and subscribers Peace and Good !!!
