Scarecrow for neighbors from an old bath towel

Greetings to the readers of my channel and bystanders. Today we will make a gorgeous scarecrow on our site, so that the neighbors do not relax much and are always in good shape)))

Nadybal this idea on one of the foreign resources and could not pass by. Check out these two handsome men who happily greet all passers-by by your dacha or home)) They are gorgeous, it will get a little warmer, and I will definitely make such friends for myself.

Next, we will consider the process of their manufacture itself. For work, the author uses balloons, scotch tape, cling film, two old bath towels, cement and plaster of paris.

The first is to make the squatting black kid. We take a 1.5 liter plastic bottle as a basis. We make a through hole in it and insert a plastic tube, a wooden river or whatever you have there. This will be our shoulders.

In order for the shoulders to have the required volume, we inflate two balls and fix them as shown in the photo. The author wraps all the balls with cling film, this is probably in order to protect the balls from damage when laying the towel.

We also use a larger ball as a head and fix it with tape on the neck of the bottle.

Now we make a solution. The solution should be watery enough to saturate the towel well and maintain its texture.

An old towel must be thoroughly saturated with a cement solution. Transfer it several times so as not to leave a dry place.

Now the most important thing is to put the towel on the frame and create the desired shape.

Here the ball on the head cannot withstand the weight of the towel and tends downward. The author substituted a cling film box in order to fix the ball in the desired position.

We leave to dry and in parallel make the second scarecrow. To do this, prepare a plaster solution and soak a bath towel in it just as well. Here you need to work quickly, since the gypsum quickly solidifies.

Note the frame for the second scarecrow. This is a HDPE pipe and a ball is attached to it, you can use a children's ball.

Place the second towel on the frame and shape the look.

On the second scarecrow, you need to stretch the ends of the towel in different directions and fasten them until dry.

After our new friends have dried up, we proceed to the decorative part and make an easy make-up for our white friend)) Draw the eyes and mouth. My wife does this every morning)))

We paint the second friend black, it is better to paint it with spray paint. You can take a glossy one, but I'll take a matte one, I think it will be more effective. Before painting, I advise you to cover our products with a primer to last longer)

That's all. In a black scarecrow, the author installed a flashlight that shines on the back of the towel and emphasizes the effect of depth.

Now we sit our new friends on the steps in front of the house and enjoy the reactions of passers-by. You can also put such comrades at the entrance in order to amuse the grannies sitting on the bench))

And one more thing that the author probably forgot to mention. On the places where the knees of the black scarecrow are supposed to be, you need to put a couple more balls in order to get the desired effect. The author did not show this, but most likely there is something for the volume.
