For example, if you decide to repaint a wall, then do it on a small surface. Will the test pass successfully? Wonderful! Continue on. And if there are errors, then, given the size of the error, it will not be difficult to fix it! Mistake # 1. Disharmony of color and room. The architectural and proportionate features of the room (the presence of natural light) are the first fundamental nuances to which you should pay attention when choosing a paint color. For example, an intense color that works great in a large living room would be completely out of place in a small bedroom. And vice versa.

Therefore, in order not to get a "heavy" or inhospitable atmosphere, first of all, do a test: paint several blanks in the colors you like and place them in the room. Observe how the shade is combined with the space, behaves at different times of the day (when exposed to direct sunlight), etc.

Mistake # 2. "New technology. Unconventional painting technique (sponge, rag, spatula ...) sometimes enchants and warms up interest. Everything seems to be very easy and simple! But this is in the hands of a professional with experience and good practice. Most often, the result of amateurs is not rosy!

Mistake number 3.Color variety. Some people sometimes find it difficult to limit themselves to just one color or tone. They want to use 3, 4, 5 or even 6 shades! By the way, which is typical for creative and expressive personalities. And that's not bad at all! The main thing is to rationally correlate color, space and pieces of furniture in a room in which such a "rainbow" transformation is supposed.

That is, for a large room, this decision is not critical (relatively)! While in a small room, it will be enough only to use one or two colors to avoid oversaturation. And the furniture in it should be light / seasoned so that against the background of a bright surface it looks dignified, and not chaotic.

Mistake # 4. Fashionable pattern. In pursuit of creative solutions, the most "fatal" danger lurks in the interior. For example, you decide to reproduce a breathtaking pattern or spectacular drawing on your wall, which you saw earlier in a fashionable glossy magazine! But before starting the creative process, ask yourself the question: do you know how to prepare a surface? What material to use? How many coats to apply? How to apply, etc.?
