Effective spring treatment of plants from bud mites without the use of chemicals.

One of the most common pests that causes tremendous damage to berry bushes is the kidney mite. Gooseberries and currants are especially susceptible to kidney mite attacks. To save the crop from inevitable death, you have to make every effort.
Before you start treating shrubs from a tick, you should make sure that this particular pest is in front of you.
A kidney mite is very small in size, approximately 0.2 mm in length. But despite its size, it presents too many problems for gardeners. This type of mite lives in the buds of plants, hence its name. The tick prefers to act from early spring, immediately after the snow melts. The buds on the shrubs begin to swell, and the larvae laid by the female kidney mites spread, capturing healthy areas.
The bud mite does not stop its activity until the end of the flowering of currants or gooseberries. During this period of time, the pest is able to destroy up to 90% of the berry crop.
The pest gets on plants not only with infected seedlings, but also carried by birds and insects. Not a single area planted with berry bushes is immune from this problem.

In addition, the kidney mite is capable of carrying various viral diseases that cannot be cured, which accordingly leads to the death of the bushes.
How to deal with a kidney mite?
Most often, gardeners use special chemicals that are quite effective in destroying pests. But very many owners of berry bushes do not want to use products that can subsequently harm human health.
In this case, it is best to remember pest control methods that are proven by experience and do not contain harmful substances. Here is a recipe for one of them:
To prepare a simple but effective remedy, we need the usual ingredients that are always at hand: laundry soap, unrefined sunflower oil.
Cooking method:
Grate 200 - 250 g of laundry soap on a coarse grater. Then dilute it in 0.5 liters of water and leave overnight to completely dissolve. In the morning add 150 ml of vegetable oil to the soapy solution and mix everything thoroughly. Dilute this mixture with 10 liters of water and spray the bushes with the resulting solution.
The effect is one hundred percent!
