Sesame milk - cook at home. Having tried it once - you always want
You can read all about the benefits of sesame seeds and my experiment in the previous article (link at the end of this article).
Why among the heap of harmful recipes so rarely come across such sweets that are also extremely useful? I decided to correct this injustice and share the recipe for making sesame milk.
So, I remind you that sesame seeds should only be taken alive. For this we buy UNSOLVED raw black sesame. White sesame is polished, it is useless, although the drink from it may turn out to be delicious too. But we also cook for the benefit.
Before cooking, we check the seeds for liveliness - put them on a wet gauze napkin, cover them with the same and, periodically moisturizing, keep them for 2-4 days. If sprouted, then the seeds are alive. If not, there will be no benefit.
Take 250 grams of raw black sesame seeds and fill with water so that the sesame seeds are completely covered with water. If you cook in the morning, then pour it overnight. If in the evening, put it in the water in the morning. But I like such a delicious and nutritious drink in the morning, instead of breakfast.
So, in the morning we drain the water, after washing it with thorough stirring. We put the seeds in a blender and, adding a glass of water first, beat. After a minute, add another 1-2 glasses of water and beat again.
Then, for taste and sweetness, add one banana to the container and you can taste a few more pieces of dates. Beat again. Other sweeteners like sugar should never be added.
As a homogeneous whipped mass turned out, we filter everything through cheesecloth folded in several layers.
You can, of course, drink without straining. The cocktail will just taste slightly bitter. That's all actually! The sesame milk is ready. If you don't drink it right away, you can store it in the refrigerator for 24 hours, but maximum for two days.
