Penstemon is an upright plant with a decent height. This is a noticeable handsome man who will definitely not get lost among the host and astilbe. Most species grow on average 60-80 cm. Therefore, you can plant a flower on a flower bed and hide something)

Penstemon is an unpretentious (I will talk about this below) perennial with a dense rhizome. Dissolves in vertical garlands of bright bells. Moreover, unlike most other abundantly flowering plants, penstemon adorns summer cottages and flower beds from mid / late June to the very frost!

My relative lives in the Krasnodar Territory, if you know - Taman. There is a very dry climate.
