Plinth finishing, operation, costs
Spring is approaching, and then summer is at hand, it's time to think about suburban leisure. For those who cannot imagine their site without a swimming pool, FORUMHOUSE has prepared another story in the first-person publication cycle. In the family Jazzmeen inflatable the pool appeared before the house and while the construction was in progress, "roamed" around the yard. Finally, hands reached him.

My story is about building a swimming pool with a pavilion.
Plinth finish
They decided to sheathe the plinth with siding.
A door was made on the rear wall of the base for easy access to the equipment. Hatches were also made in the flooring for the same purpose.
When installing the equipment under the flooring, naturally, a chlorine generator was also connected. To our volume of water, 50 kg (2 bags of 25 kg) of tableted salt were added. And that was enough for the rest of the season. We didn't expect this. We thought that we would have to add it several times. We bought 10 bags (250 kg), with an expectation for the future. If this continues, then this salt will last for 10 years... In general, we'll see. The final appearance of the pavilion.
The most expensive part, of course, is the pavilion. But despite this, in general, this entire project cost us less than 500 thousand.
Swimming pool operation
The deck was covered with Neomid terrace oil. For two (and in some places three) layers, a 2 liter can was enough. Chosen transparent, as long as the wood has its natural color. When it gets dark, we will cover it in the color of a nut, or something else. It’s only the first year, it’s not getting dark. The pool is not connected to the sewerage system. At the end of the season, we drain the water by a third, to the nozzles, and top up in the spring. Top up during the season, as it evaporates, and also, after washing the filter.

A bubble wrap was placed on the surface of the water to reduce water evaporation.
This summer, of course, they did not open the doors full. And swimming with the doors closed is okay. But if you also wanted to sit there, then you had to move it a little, since the temperature reached over 40 degrees. We also just used these doors as entrance doors. In general, I do not regret that they are.
Snow leaves the roof almost immediately, it does not linger. Between the pavilion and the fence about 1.5 meters. This winter is not an indicator, of course: there is very little snow. Let's see what will happen next.

The bottom line of an indoor pool, of course, has many advantages: the water in the pool is significantly warmer, and the air around it is also. This is very important for our climate.
Last year, even without the pavilion, in the spring the ice in the pool melted for a very long time, only in the 20th of April it melted. This year there is now only a layer of ice of about 1 cm. Winter, of course, is warm, but in a pond, for example, 10 centimeters of ice, we chopped an ice hole on weekends.
Also, last year after winter there was a lot of dirt in the pool, we were tortured to vacuum. And throughout the season a lot of debris comes in. Now the water is clear and clear. And in the summer, already with the pavilion, there were much fewer problems with garbage.
The swimming season was closed at the end of October, when frosts came, we dismantled the equipment, drained some of the water, and laid a film on the surface of the water. Until that time, we swam after the steam room.
Then, in November, the temperature increased and we could have jumped some more, but we didn't open the pool again.
Today is a very sunny day. At noon, the temperature in the pavilion was already 18 degrees. Now, probably already more.
