3. You can put the leaf in water. First, it is dried up during the day, and then placed in a small container with water. Only the edge of the leaf should touch the water. If you submerge it halfway in water, it will rot.

4. After several roots have formed, the leaf is planted in loose soil. Very quickly, one or more shoots will appear from the leaf.

5. You can equip a small greenhouse. To do this, it is worth burying a fresh leaf in a coconut or sphagnum substrate about half. Cover with a glass or plastic glass and place in partial shade.

Such a greenhouse needs to be ventilated and the moisture level controlled. Dampness and stagnant water lead to decay.

How to root the shoot correctly

1. A small stalk up to 10 centimeters is an excellent planting material. I remove the lowest leaves from it and place it in a cool dry place for a day. During this time, the wounds will dry out, and the plant will not rot.

2. I put the stalk in a small container with water, and after a day I add the root. Crockery with a sprout should be in partial shade. If the water level decreases, then it can be added a little.

3. The roots form in about two weeks. I plant the sprout in a small container that has drainage and potting soil for succulents. The pot must have holes for the liquid to drain.

4. You can also plant the cutting directly into the soil. In order to avoid the danger of decay, a small amount of sphagnum can be added to the soil. It is worth using a small container.

The sprout is buried 3-4 centimeters. The young plant is transplanted to a permanent residence after a year or two.

The plant does not like drying out and waterlogging. It is also protected from direct sunlight. In order for the plant to branch, the top must be pinched. The fat woman takes root very quickly and develops the ground part.
