My proven method of growing succulent Dill without an Umbrella. Getting ready for the Garden season correctly

Is there any dill in the world that does not form umbrellas at all? A few years ago I believed in this and stubbornly looked for the appropriate planting material.

Only now it turned out that from the point of view of botany - umbrellas are necessary for dill, because its grains are formed in them.

Therefore, I never buy seeds, the manufacturer of which promises "dill without umbrellas!" - after all, he cannot but know that such a statement is impossible.

However, there really are varieties prone to later formation of umbrellas, which means that they do not age so quickly, from these bushes you can cut off the tender, juicy, fragrant essential oils longer greens!

In particular, these include:

Richelieu;

· Firework;

Hoarfrost;

· Max;

· Amazon;

· Kutuzovsky;

· Kibray.

In addition, no matter what variety I choose, I never forget about the rules of agricultural technology.

It is widely believed that dill is a terribly unpretentious greenery. In theory, it can develop in the most unfavorable results, but how will it grow?

Therefore, I always plant dill in a sunny place and since it requires a lot of moisture because of this, I never skip watering it. The fact is that during drought, dill acts "on instincts", that is, it seeks to quickly form seeds, that is, umbrellas with them.

Also, on hot days in the evenings and in cloudy weather, I spray dill.

You can also delay the appearance of umbrellas by changing the planting style - I sow dill not in rows, but in bunches. To do this, you just need to dig a hole of 10-15 cm, fill it with dill seeds, add earth on top of them, and finally, water everything.

This will lead to one thing - the formation of many plants in the "format" of one bush.

Favorable conditions for growing dill, in which it remains a young plant for a long time, also presuppose correct fertilization. It should be something organic, however, saltpeter and urea are absolutely contraindicated.

But the theory that the rate of formation of umbrellas is influenced by nearby plants has not been confirmed. For me, this greens "grew old" equally quickly on separate beds and near zucchini, tomatoes, green beans.

In this way, composed like a mosaic of several techniques, I manage to grow dill on the most delicate greens without any umbrellas, getting them later, exactly when it's time to start canning harvest!
