The money tree is known as an unpretentious houseplant, but it is not so easy to achieve flowering from it. There are many factors that influence this luxurious phenomenon.
In particular, a money tree must have:
· Correctly developed root system;
· High immunity;
· Rather dense and juicy deciduous mass.
Of course, anything you can buy today in a specialty store, but still real save finances and use environmentally friendly substances by referring to folk recipes dressing.
Having tried more than one option, I opted for the following:
1. Yeast cocktail. Dissolve fresh yeast in a measure of 10 grams in 1 liter of warm water. Add 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar. Remove the liquid in a bright place for 24 hours. Water the root of the plant.
2. Infusion of wood ash. Pour two glasses of ash from linden or birch wood with 1 liter of boiling water. Put in the dark for 7 days. Then strain and use for watering.
3. Botanical lemonade. Peel 1 lemon and 2 tangerines. Pour 500 ml of boiling water over the citrus peel. Place the container for 3 days in a place out of sunlight. Strain and dilute 1 to 3 with clean water. Use infusion for watering.
4. Eggshell tincture. Grind five pieces of shells into dust in a mortar or through a coffee grinder and pour 500 ml of boiling water. Place where there is no sunlight for 12 days. Then strain the solution and water the plants.
Crumbled eggshells can also be simply buried in the top layer of the substrate instead of a liquid agent.
For a beautiful flowering plant, in parallel with any of these folk dressings, you do not need to add anything store that contains nitrogen.
The fact is that this mineral contributes to the formation of green mass in plants and prevents the appearance of flower buds.
In addition, guided by personal experience, I realized that you can't wait for flowering for a very long time if you fertilize the money tree with such organic matter as manure and chicken droppings.
I put all the fertilizing in the pot with the money tree in the evening or in cloudy weather, and after them I gently loosen the ground when mute, because I have already found out a long time ago that in order to assimilate all nutrients, the root system of this plant must actively "breathe".
