Warm floor and its real harm to health
Hello dear subscribers and guests of my channel! Today I want to raise a very important topic and finally figure out what the danger really is warm floor for our health and along the way to consider the most common misconceptions and dispel them like smoke. So, let's begin.
Electric floors are evil
I very often hear that warm electric floors are almost a time bomb, and the electromagnetic radiation emitted by them (in the process of work) slowly but surely destroys our health.
Of course, electromagnetic radiation is present when a warm electric floor is in operation. But it is only harmful if an incorrect installation was performed (the screen is not connected) or it was it was decided to save as much as possible, and an electric heated floor was purchased, where a special screen.
It also reduces the exposure to EM to safe values for humans.
Warm floor and convection are incompatible
Another alleged disadvantage is the almost complete absence of convection when using only a warm floor system.
So, if the house uses only a warm floor system and there is simply no ventilation system at all, then of course there is a possibility the fact that carbon dioxide will accumulate at floor level (due to the absence or extremely low convection of air masses in room). It can harm your health.
That's just any competent specialist, before starting the installation of a warm floor as the main and only source of heating, everything will be calculated.
And if it turns out that, according to the calculation, it will be necessary to install additional radiators or implement forced ventilation, then this will have to be done and the issue of poor ventilation will disappear by itself.
In this case, everything again rests on a competent approach and calculation. Do not skimp on competent preparation, and everything will be fine.
Warm floors dry the air
I partially agree with this statement. Any heating system dries up the air, therefore, in winter, it is advisable to control the air humidity and, if necessary, install humidifiers or ventilate the room more often.
Warm floor is dangerous for feet
I also periodically hear that because of the warm floor, problems with my legs began. So, problems can really begin, but only if the temperature regime is incorrectly selected and implemented.
A comfortable and safe temperature for your feet will be 30 degrees Celsius. Therefore, when installing the system, you need to pay special attention to the regulators and their competent installation.
A competent approach will save you from all problems
If you think about it, it turns out that the lion's share of the problems is connected not with the fact that warm floors are bad, but with the illiterate and thoughtless implementation of this system.
It is enough to fulfill the following conditions:
- Competent preliminary calculation of the entire system with a miscalculation of convection in the room, temperature regime, etc.
- Purchase of high quality and safe components.
- Competent installation, performed by professionals in their field.
- Correct operation.
Compliance with all the above rules will completely save you from disappointment in such a system as a warm floor. And you will enjoy the comfort and warmth.
