The daughter-in-law brought a knife from the electric meat grinder with a complaint about poor work, and where the grate is, carry it too. The knife had each edge sharpened separately, and therefore, when he put it on the glass, he began to "swing" on two blades, only they participated in the cutting, and the grate itself was worked out, it also had to align.
Sharpening
Today I decided to look at my typewriter, and that's what I found. On one blade the adhesion to the grate was shifted to the center, it is good that at least there was no "swing".
For leveling, a flat surface was needed, I used 4 mm glass, and sandpaper numbered 100 and 320. I put the knife on the paper and began to sharpen, it turned out quickly, but I had to tinker with the grate. In the process, defects immediately appeared, which are now clearly visible.
