The simplest fixture of plastic bottle caps
There are people who do not sit around even watching TV. Yesterday I made a useful device out of plastic bottle caps.
This craft is useful to everyone, without exception. Useful for camping, in the kitchen, renovating, etc. Simple and fast to do. I think you will enjoy this process, and most importantly the result.
Required:
- 2 plastic. bottles,
- side cutters,
- hacksaw for metal,
- file or sandpaper,
- a little time.
Cut off the neck of the bottles. You need exactly the part where the covers are. Regular scissors failed to cut along the edge.
So I took a hacksaw and sawed it off without any problems. The main thing here is not to rush.
You can use wire cutters to remove unwanted plastic.
Thus, we get 2 covers. This completes the most difficult work.
Now you need to clean the plastic with sandpaper or a file.
I did it with an old, Soviet file. I tried so hard that the handle cracked. It's time to change to a new instrument.
Prepared lids need to be glued. I had a universal, waterproof glue Moment (extra strong) in my house.
I applied glue to two parts. Withstood 10 minutes and pressed hard to stick well.
On the tube of glue it is written that strength is achieved after 24 hours. But after 2 minutes I tried to detach the covers and it didn't work. Stuck tightly.
The device is ready! You can store screws, nails, buttons, etc. in the resulting capsule.
You can store matches. It is convenient to take with you on a hike, fishing. In such a capsule, matches will not get wet. I thought later that I could pour salt and take it on a fishing trip for fish soup on the fire.
