Why is it not worth digging up the ground in the garden either in spring or before winter.

Most gardeners in late autumn and early spring have to spend a lot of time and energy digging up their gardens. I would like to note that this work is not easy, and frankly speaking, it is just hellishly hard.

To avoid the time-consuming process of digging up the beds, I would like to sort out all the pros and cons of this difficult action on the shelves:

- digging up the garden, you get rid of pests and parasites that live in the upper layers of fertile soil;
- having dug up the beds, it is easier to get rid of weeds, especially from their root system;

- air circulation during digging is significantly improved, which is very beneficial for plants;

Reasons why you should not dig up the beds.

Experienced gardeners have found other ways to achieve these advantages, but in easier ways:

- pests can be destroyed with the help of special preparations, and even more so it will be much more effective; Although if you do not dig up, then the living microorganisms themselves do a good job with pests.

- you can get rid of weeds with a hoe or a flat cutter;
- in order not to dig up the garden, it is enough to add a large amount of humus or manure once every 5 years, embedding it in the soil and the soil will not be too dense;

Digging will no longer be necessary in the spring, it is only necessary to loosen the beds and you can safely engage in sowing or planting cultivated plants. And the harvest in this case will be much richer.

Digging also destroys beneficial bacteria living in the upper soil layer.

You can, of course, spend all your free time with a shovel in your hands in the old fashioned way, but you can better rest and take care of your health, which is not worth a single, even the best harvest.
