We wanted a creative kitchen, but it turned out to be gloomy with strange daubs on the walls. Before / after photos

The couple finally decided to make repairs in their apartment, they started from the kitchen, as this room first of all needed updating. The couple wanted to create a fashionable and creative kitchen design.

The area of ​​the premises is only 6 sq. m., in addition to the choice of design, it is also necessary to maintain functionality.

Before renovation:

A white kitchen set with a black countertop and a dark blue backsplash was installed along one of the walls. A simple gas stove was placed near the window, it protrudes beyond the lower drawers of the kitchen unit, which violates the unity of the design.

We put a dining table and chairs. The wall in this area was decorated with strokes of blue paint, which, in fact, ruined the design of the kitchen. This painting was done by hand.

For finishing a small room, it is better to use shades of light colors, dark colors visually reduce the space of the room.

The microwave oven had to be placed on the windowsill, although it was possible to find a more suitable place, thereby freeing up the flow of light.

The walls in the room were painted white; to the right of the entrance to the room, a black note board and a towel rack with a picture of a black elk were hung on the wall.

Despite the fact that the spouses really liked the final result, many believe that there is no single style in the design, there are many unnecessary details, without which it would be much more spacious.

The blue tablecloth and wall decoration in the dining area spoil the whole decoration; without these details, the interior would look neater and cleaner. And, not everyone will like the absence of a refrigerator in the kitchen.

In general, the cuisine really turned out to be creative, original. But this design is not impressive, and even requires rework. It is difficult to be in such an environment for a long time. Blue color, if used incorrectly, negatively affects the psycho-emotional state.

In my opinion, everything here urgently needs to be redone. The kitchen set itself is not bad, but all other interior elements do not fit here, especially the wall decoration.

Maybe one of the family members did it with their own hands, but it looks rather inappropriate.

And, although the owners were guided by the Scandinavian style of the interior, the kitchen turned out to be closer to the Gothic style.
