How not to connect wires in a plug

Hello dear subscribers and guests of my channel! Today I want to demonstrate one way to connect an outlet that is dangerous to use. So, let's begin.

Browsing the Internet, I came across "innovative" method of connecting wires to the plug. According to him, the wires in the outlet are tied into a kind of knot.

And this one "Safe" the design supposedly ensures reliable fixation of the wires in the plug if it is accidentally or intentionally pulled out of the socket.

So, now I want to tell you why it is absolutely impossible to do this.

What is the danger of such a connection

So, the argument in favor of such a connection was the fact that, supposedly, in this way, there would be no additional effect on the contact point, and when the plug was pulled out, the contact would not disappear.

I will omit the fact that such a "miracle" will be extremely problematic to fit in the socket housing and will talk about the most important drawback.

So, this entanglement twists the core, and okay, as long as the insulation is elastic and easily tolerates such deformation.

Now imagine that several months have passed and you connected powerful devices through such a miracle plug. As a result, the insulation heats up and loses its original elasticity.

So, by pulling such a "modernized" plug with hardened insulation, we can provoke a short circuit. It is corny due to the fact that with the next compression of the insulation, it will crack corny and expose the veins.

I think this argument alone is enough to never make such a modification in the fork.

How to properly connect the wires in the plug

And now I will tell you how the only correct way to connect the wires in the plug. To do this, we strip the conductors on the cable.

If available, we crimp the ends with special tips (ideal).

If there are none, then we form a ring from the stripped core around the bolt. Next, remove the ring and solder it with a soldering iron.

And then tighten the screw connections securely. And now, so that the wires are securely fixed in the plug, be sure to install and tighten the clamping bar.

That's it, now we collect the plug and use it for health. And no matter how hard you pull the plug from the outlet (which, of course, should be avoided), the wires will be securely fixed.
