Renovation of an old shabby kitchen

This apartment was purchased by a family on the secondary market. The condition is deplorable, urgent repairs were required. It was decided to start all work with the kitchen, it was in the worst condition. In just a few days, on their own, they managed to make an incredible transformation. The result is amazing.

The repair was divided into two stages:

1. Dismantling of old cladding materials. Elimination of old furniture and household appliances. The process is quite laborious and dusty. However, it is impossible to do without it: everything is old and cannot be reconstructed. Having given a day to this work, the guys completely prepared the area for a new reincarnation.

2. Development of your own design, work on the decoration and furnishings of the kitchen space.

It is noteworthy that the young owners independently selected materials, furniture, and created a special design environment on their own. These moments allowed the family to save money.

The useful area of ​​this kitchen is small, but with a skillful layout, it was possible to place the maximum amount of furniture and household appliances. Modern style is taken as the main design, it differs in its functionality.

The facades of the kitchen cabinets are white, in perfect harmony with the black, artificial stone inserts. It is available on the apron.

The sanitary ware has been used from the premium range and has a modern look. The gas stove with an oven fits completely into the general line of furniture and does not take up much useful space.

There is an extractor hood: the forced removal of steam and burning will allow to keep the furniture clean for a long time, but the most important thing is that the kitchen will be constantly fresh. The refrigerator occupies a corner position and does not interfere with free movement.

The floor is made of laminated board, has a natural wood texture. The center of the floor is tiled with ceramic tiles with floral patterns. This construction trick allows you to organize an island near the slab and not clog the laminate. Lighting as standard.

Everything is almost ready, all that remains is to buy additional furniture: a table for eating and chairs.

In the end, I would like to note that the renovation turned out to be wonderful, but a little darkish. Still, in small kitchens, it is better not to use too dark shades. But you should never be afraid to experiment.
