The wife just has weak fingers, she cannot squeeze the tube "dry", asks me, but sometimes she doesn't want to be distracted and just throws away the remains of toothpaste. And there, if you squeeze well, half of China would still have enough, I decided to fix the situation and make a special key.

Manufacturing

I found an aluminum tube of a suitable size in the stubs and made a longitudinal cut with an angle grinder in it, the handle remained to be done. I took a wooden block, drilled a hole, poured glue into it, and installed a tube with a slot, then cut off the block.

To form a handle, I installed a petal circle on the grinder, and turned a wooden blank. The time has come for firing on gas, it is at least beautiful (for my taste), as well as protection against decay. Soaked the tree with oil while it was still hot, well, that's all, I decided not to varnish it.

Now I had to try the homemade product, because I did it for my wife, I was worried, and suddenly, even with this device, she does not have enough strength to cope with the tube. He showed how to use it and asked to test it. Small difficulties arose with threading the tail of the tube into the slot, but it coped, the wide handle created good leverage, and the experiment was successful. Now she will not ask to squeeze the paste out of the tube for her, but she can handle it herself, this means that the family budget will be saved.
