I got the apartment from my grandmother - made some minor repairs, but kept all the old furniture

The young woman inherited an apartment from her grandmother. The dwelling has not been renovated for a long time. But the progenitor was very fond of classics, so good antique furniture remained in the house.

The woman, before moving into her new home, made a budget redecoration. But practically all the furniture and some other parts of the interior have been preserved. It turned out very atmospheric, soulful.

In the kitchen, the walls were refreshed with white paint, the floor was changed. as the old parquet is worn out there. The kitchen unit remained the same, it was simply painted with white paint. On the side tables, the countertops were replaced in the color of the floor. They also installed a new oven and hob.

In the dining area by the window, there is a magnificent round dining table made of natural wood with chairs. The kitchen turned out to be atmospheric, homely, cozy, retaining good memories from childhood.

The floor in the living room was still good. The parquet was sanded a little and covered with a fresh layer of wax.

Here, from my grandmother, there was a set of classic upholstered furniture in a juicy dark crimson color, a small work table by the window, old, but still good and strong chairs, a coffee table.

The renovation was minimalistic - the walls, frames, batteries were repainted. Pictures, several shelves, flowers - helped to refresh the interior and make it more harmonious.

The bedroom has also undergone a minimum of transformations. Even Grandma's old carpet on the floor and her wooden double bed were left here. The woman added only a little decor in the form of stylish posters on the walls. And also updated the tulle to a lighter and more airy one.

An old large wall mirror with a wooden frame has been preserved in the corridor. From the very doorstep, you can feel the special atmosphere of this wonderful apartment. The newly made hostess managed to freshen up the house without disturbing its comfort and preserving in it the memory of her beloved grandmother.
