Garage floors made of modular PVC tiles as a replacement for concrete flooring

Concrete floors in a garage, warehouse are a reliable and durable base (subject to technology). But any concrete is dusty. The surface is abraded. Polymeric floors based on polyurethane varnishes are often poured in industrial premises. But the cost of such floors is too high for most.

I propose to consider an alternative - modular PVC tile floors:

As I wrote above, any concrete floor is dusty, cracks, potholes appear over time. It absorbs moisture and whatever is spilled on it. Polymer self-leveling floors are expensive, but they can also crack on a concrete base. Vibro-compressed paving stones in the garage are inexpensive, but they also get dusty, and dirt and debris collect in the seams.

Yes, the price is not that “sweet”, but keep in mind that you will receive floors with trouble-free operation for almost the entire service life of the building. And if some tile is damaged (cut, burned out), then having a few in stock - the module can always be replaced.

The tile does not support combustion, withstands high loads, does not crack. The surface has a texture - not slippery. Very easy to install. Yes, floors made of such tiles cannot be installed immediately on a sandy or unpaved surface. You need a concrete screed or paving stones (even used ones). And the latter can be purchased at a price of 100 rubles / m2.

Tile or porcelain stoneware is cheaper, but you can't stick it on the floors in the garage - the floors are slippery, the tiles can crack under load.

The tiles are held together in a T-shaped joint (available with a dovetail joint). Tile size: 250x250 mm. There are also 300x300 mm, 375x375 mm. Coating thickness 5, 6, 8, 10 mm. Each manufacturer makes its own sizes. If the tiles need to be cut, then this can be done with a clerical knife.

There are also anti-slip drainage surfaces made of modular pool tiles. But they will have to be dismantled and cleaned at least once a season.
