What I strongly advise to plant in the Garden, taking into account the upcoming Crisis in the country

Rumors of a new global crisis have been reaching me since 2018. And so it happened - in 2020, first came isolation, and now the usual economic crisis is coming.

Tough times ahead make you think about the future and how you should get through adversity. I thought about different solutions and one of the best is to take care of the vegetable garden.

At my service is a small plot of 10 acres. This is not enough to feed myself. But it is quite possible to significantly reduce spending on the food basket. Therefore, I paid special attention to growing expensive food products.

From what has already been planted:

· Corn;

· Sunflower;

Pumpkin;

Zucchini.

And what else is planned:

· Tomatoes;

· Cucumbers;

Peanuts.

First, about what is already there. Corn is definitely good when it is ripe. Overcooking, it becomes not tasty. But its presence will improve the diet, even for a month, but at least something.

Sunflower is a seed, nothing else interests. A pleasant habit will help keep my family morale and get some distraction away from potential troubles. A hundred square meters of land have been allocated for each of these crops.

Pumpkin and squash are good for main dishes. The first vegetable makes very good porridge. In addition, to preserve the pumpkin, it can be peeled and frozen.

Although the taste will fade a little, such a preparation can even lie in the freezer for several years and retain most of the nutrients. Zucchini is best, in my humble opinion, to eat fried. In addition, they tolerate freezing well. In total, I have allocated half a hundred square meters for each of these crops.

Now about what is only planned for landing. And the first is tomatoes. I love them very much, my parents pampered me with them as a child. In order to get them quickly, I took care of the seedlings. It will be planted in late May - early June.

Get somewhere on a hundred square meters of land. Thus, the tomato is enough for both personal consumption and conservation. Cucumbers ripen more quickly for me, therefore, I will plant their seeds along with tomatoes. They are also suitable for personal use and conservation.

The last guest in my story is peanuts. Crops like it, as most believe, can only be grown in the warm south. But, visiting last summer, I learned that it is successfully grown even at the 53rd geographical latitude (I live at the 50th).

The solution is to collect seeds and try to plant them. Roughly enough, they are more or less enough for the rest of the land. Moreover, the seeds are good, tasty, nutritious, selected, she chose from a whole bag.

Why so, and not potatoes, turnips or something similar dense and satisfying? I believe that despite the future difficulties, it will be possible to buy cereals, pasta and potatoes, although the price for them will increase.

But something for a change (the same tomatoes and cucumbers) will soar in price much more. Therefore, it is best to prepare them given the limited space available. That's all, thank you for your attention!
