Tired that neighbors are walking around your garden because: "So closer"? 3 legal ways to wean them from doing this
Good neighborly relations with other land owners are great. But sometimes, as you know, they overstep the boundaries. And - literally.
It was terribly unpleasant for me when the neighbors for some reason began to go to their homes through our garden. To all questions and appeals to the sense of conscience, they laughed it off and said that "it is easier and closer to them this way."
Of course, one could drive them away with a terrible scandal. But who needs a "war" with their neighbors in their gardens?
Therefore, I went to the Internet for ways of countermeasures and it turned out that there are options for solving the problem! Moreover, legal and seemingly not spoiling the relationship!
First option, this is, of course, setting up a fence. No wicket in a problem area and not so low that you can jump! I chose the option of a mesh fence made of thin dies, which, on the one hand, created a real barrier, and on the other, left the area as if open, visible.
The result was a stylish solution when it was painted white. I also planted climbing roses with him.
If someone does not want a fence, you can choose a hedge. Juniper, honeysuckle, rose hips, thuja. Or even boxwood, which can be shaped with a curly haircut to give the most intricate, luxurious, elegant forms in the garden.
While reading the stories of other people, I came across a curious message that someone had planted nettles on a part of the site open to a neighbor's passage. Those people must have been terribly surprised! But nettle is a very useful plant in agriculture. So everything is fair.
So, second option can be called some kind of landing. It is unlikely that even very brave neighbors have the audacity to trample on other people's work, so that they can block the path with frequent beds of strawberries or sowing corn, in which, in general, you can almost get lost.
As third way I met an offer to have a dog on the site. But there are pitfalls here. After all, if there is no fence, it turns out that the animal should be kept on a chain? It's not humane.
Can it simply be brought up not to run away further than its territory? And where are the guarantees that the dog will be so perfectly obedient? Besides, getting an angry dog is generally stupid.
And if she is peaceful, then theoretically, it will not be difficult for neighbors, as before, to walk by. And even scratching it behind the ear. In my opinion, the only option when this is acceptable is when the neighbors are very afraid of any dogs at all. Then, knowing that you have it, they may not go to uninvited guests.
But again - a pet is a huge responsibility and you need to start it only knowing that in the family he will be given love and care all year round, and not only in the summer season.
